About our network

The Chidokai International Community is an independent international community bringing together practitioners who share an appreciation for the heritage, values, and spirit of traditional Chidokan Karate.

This website is intended as a place for friendship, exchange, historical preservation, and the sharing of Karate practice and experience.

This platform is independent and is not an official website or governing authority.

All clubs, instructors, and practitioners presented here operate independently and remain responsible for their own activities and affiliations.

We are united by a shared mission to preserve, promote, and share the teachings of Chidokan Karate.

The Chidokai International Community

The Chidokai International Community is built on trust, knowledge, and shared passion rather than rigid rules. Members are recognized according to their experience and understanding of Chidokan Karate.

At the heart of this community stands a Coordinator, whose role is not to impose anything but to  coordinate initiatives, facilitate communication, and serve as a bridge between established members and others who might be interested in joining the community.

All members and students associated with Chidokan are welcome to reach out and connect with fellow practitioners around the world. If you happen to visit a city where a Chidokan instructor or dojo is active, you are warmly encouraged to get in touch, share training, and exchange experiences. This simple spirit of openness and friendship helps keep the Chidokan bond alive — wherever we are.

In this way, the Chidokai International Community remains open, flexible, and connected, while still ensuring that the values and teachings of Chidokan are preserved and shared worldwide.
